[ Summary ] A connection with H.pylori infections was considered in cases of primary gastric MALT lymphoma. There are several showing that anti-bacterial therapy is followed by a complete regression of these tumors in most patients. MALT lymphomas occur most commonly in the stomach, wheres small intestinal MALT lymphomas are rare. Only a few studies have shown a clinical course and treatment for this disease.
This paper reviews the current knowledge of primary small intestinal MALT lymphoma and presents some cases.
