[ Summary ] There are few cases with a symptomatic H.pylori gastritis develops into peptic ulcers or malignant tumors. Eradication therapy does not necessarily improve symptoms in all gastrltis patients. The incidence of reflux esophagitis, or GERD, may increase after the cure of Helicobacter pylori infection. Helicobacter pylori infection induces gastritis. Peptic ulcer disease, gastric MALT lymphoma and gastric carcinomas occur on the soil associated with Helicobacter pyloli gastritis. Helicobacler pylori eradication is necessary for treatment and prevention of these disease.
