[ Summary ] Judgeing from the gross configurations of colorectal tumors, indications of EMR is LST and depressed type. In the examination of submucosal invading cancer, vessel invasion occurred in sm1b extension cancer and lymphonodus metastasis occurred in sm2 and more advanced stages of extension cancer. Therefore endoscopic treatment is suitable in sm1a and sm1b extension type, without vessel invasion. The cases of depressed colorectal lesions should be treated endoscopically when under 10mm in diameter. We found only one intramucosal cancer and no submucosal invading cancer in lesions of homogeneous type LST. Therefore this type is the most suitable for indications of EMR.
