[ Summary ] Japan is surrounded by the ocean, the natural environment abounds with beautiful mountains blessed with forests, lakes, and rivers, and numerous hot springs. According to Japan's hot spring law, hot water is that which is above 25 ℃ or contains prescribed substances. Hot springs are known for their spiritual efficacy from the time of God. In order to reach the psychology that a dialysis patient wishes to go to a hot spring resort, it is important to carry out dialysis management securely, and to carry out daily self-management so that the trip can be a safe one. Measures such as carrying a dialysis information notebook are important. Dialysis patients undergo physical stress that healthy people cannot imagine. Traveling to a hot spring resort can have a synergistic balneology effect owing to the therapeutic effects of change in air and the benefits of the hot spring. Furthermore, as part of aging measures, attempts have been made to utilize it as a local health promotion, and social benefits such as reduction in medical and nursing expenses using hot springs are also expected.
