In this brief report, we aim to review the progresses made in clinical and basic research on CKD-MBD during the past 50 years, with a special focus on the contributions of Japanese researchers. Though most of the clinical and basic research has been published in English journals, we are confident that evidence from Japanese studies will provide a greater contribuion to global guidelines in the future. |
