| 【 要旨 】 | 性ステロイドホルモンをはじめとした脂溶性低分子量生理活性物質をリガンドとする核内受容体群は，骨組織において重要な機能を果たすことが知られつつある．核内受容体は転写制御因子として標的遺伝子の発現を転写レベルで制御し，その際，核内に存在する複数の共役因子複合体と相互作用する．受容体のノックアウトマウスにおいてはリガンドの生理作用から期待される重篤な変異が観察されている．骨組織においても，顕著な変異が観察されているものの，軟骨組織における変異については，十分に解析されていない．そのため現在なお，軟骨における受容体群の機能については不明な点が多い． | |

| [ Summary ] | The physiological significance of nuclear steroid hormone receptor function has been recently demonstrated. The nuclear receptors are ligand-induced transcription factors, and recruit a number of co-regulatory complexes for ligand-induced transactivation. Reflecting the significant actions of nuclear receptor ligands in skeletal tissues, the knockout mice deficient of nuclear receptors exhibit skeletal abnormalities, however, little is studied in chondrocyte differentiation in such mice. | |
