【 要旨 】 残存腎機能保持の面から，末期腎不全患者の腎代替療法としてPDを優先的に考慮するPD firstという概念が世界的にも広まってきているが，PDはHDと比較して体液過剰となりやすく，定期的な腹膜機能評価とそれに対応した透析液や貯留時間の調整が必要となる．また，体液過剰に対してはイコデキストリン透析液による除水強化が有効だが，PD単独での管理が困難になった際には，原則週1回のHDを行うPD＋HD併用療法が選択される．
