Leisure is valuable and pleasant time free from obligatory duties and activities; it helps achieve self-fulfillment and self-enrichment. Dialysis patients have lesser leisure time and physical activity compared to the general population. Encouraging dialysis patients to participate in leisure activities will enhance their well-being. Future studies on leisure among Japanese dialysis patients are needed. |
