[ Summary ] |
Malignant disease is the third leading cause of death in dialysis patients in Japan, with a rate of 9.3 %. We strive for early detection in daily management and also recommend surgery if necessary. Surgery has greater risk in dialysis patients, but careful perioperative management can improve the outcome. Chemotherapy can also be considered, and has been increasingly used. |
