[ Summary ] |
The Japan Dialysis Outcomes and Practice Patterns Study (J-DOPPS) is a part of DOPPS, a large international observational study on clinical practice patterns and patient outcomes concerning maintenance hemodialysis patients. It is a prospective cohort study of maintenance hemodialysis patients in Japan. J-DOPPS prospectively collects various clinical practice patterns and patient outcomes in detail, related to maintenance hemodialysis patients randomly selected from across Japan, with this tool we may investigate differences in patients and treatments along with associations between them. Various new findings presented in the J-DOPPS have a great deal of influence on dialysis treatments in our country and will contribute to further improvements in patient outcomes. |
