[ Summary ] |
Continuous dialysis dose monitors can not only detect solute removal kinetics in patients by measuring concentrations of urea-like solutes contained in the spent dialysate in real time, but can also detect any trouble such as blood removal failure or vascular access recirculation, which can cause reductions in removal performance. This is an essential monitoring technique for next-generation dialysis which can provide safe and efficient dialysis corresponding to the patient's disease condition not only in hospitals but also at home. |
