HD patients often have mental health issues, as a consequence of stress and physical symptoms or drug side effects. As the number of patients with long-term HD increases, their stresses seem to change, but research on mental health issues is lacking. In order to improve the mental health of HD patients, the medical staff should promote stress self-care and ensure good physical status. |
