[ Summary ] |
It is important for dialyzed patients to receive rehabilitation in relation to their condition and their environment. This can enable them to spend their lives in familiar environments. When undergoing rehabilitation at home, maintaining physical functions and activity is required. Appropriate rehabilitation equipment, which is usually implemented at medical institutions, is not available at home. Additionally, rehabilitation specialists must keep the patients' motivation high by creatively improving relationships between the patients and medical specialists. In order for patients to live fulfilling lives, the use of social resource, such as neighborhood volunteers and visiting nurses, is important. |
