The use of hemodialysis in the elderly may be temporary. Therefore, early on in the introduction process, it is necessary to reexamine use. This includes shifting to peritoneal dialysis and withdrawal of hemodialysis. The nurses' role includes having time to reexamine hemodialysis. We must evaluate the understanding of our patients. We must also evaluate the state of the family of the patient, care provided and social resources. We must make an effort to increase quality of the life for our patients. |
