[ Summary ] |
Nephrosclerosis is defined as renal lesions occurring in a setting of mild to moderate hypertension, associated with hyaline arteriolosclerosis. Recently, the average age of patients starting renal replacement therapy has increased. Thus, the number of cases of nephrosclerosis has increased as the cause of end-stage renal disease. These patients sometimes also have vascular complications. We need to treat these patients with special caution in order to prevent the onset of complications. |
