| 【 要旨 】 | 高齢透析患者の増加に伴い，認知症はこれまでにも増して重要な問題になってきている．うつ病も透析患者にはしばしば生じるが，高齢透析患者では喪失体験が原因の一つになっていることが多い．高齢透析患者の精神症状の治療とケアでは，十分な身体的治療とケア，「理解に基づく共感」，ペイシャントエンパワーメント，社会的支援の充実，認知症の非薬物療法，家族ケアなどが重要である． | |

Patients receiving hemodialysis often suffer from depression. Elderly patients' loss experiences are often one of the causes of depression. To care for psychiatric symptoms, sufficient treatment and care of physical conditions, cognitive empathy, patient-empowerment, appropriate social support, non-pharmacological treatment of dementia, and care for patients' families are all important issues. | |
