[ Summary ] |
Ideal kidney transplant patients play active roles in learning about the procedure and exercise self-control concerning their part in kidney transplantation. These attitudes are essential in preoperative and postoperative periods. The volume of medical-knowledge these patients must acquire is great and varied for each clinical period. Therefore, an attitude of dependence on others can become an obstacle to learning and self-control. Additionally, attitudes which help maintain good social relationships and help medical staffs is important for creating the ideal situations for kidney transplant patients. Efforts aimed at creating ideal situations for kidney transplant patients will lead to improved long-term successful kidney grafts. |
