【 要旨 】 当院は消化器科，糖尿病科，腎臓科に特化した小規模急性期病院である．NST（nutrition support team）は2002年東北地方で最初に立ち上げ，職員全員がメンバーで活動を行っている．腎臓科は，NST立ち上げ以前から透析治療に栄養療法は組み込まれるべきものであるという考えのもと，チーム医療を行っている．透析室の栄養管理は栄養スクリーニング，栄養アセスメント，ケアプランの実施と見直しからなる，PDCA（plan，do，check，action）マネジメントサイクルを導入している．現在NSTの活動はないが，回診，カンファランスのなかで栄養に関する問題や改善点の報告を行い，各職種も把握できる体制になっており，診療のなかに浸透している．

[ Summary ] Eijinkai Hospital is an acute care facility specializing in gastroenterology, diabetes care and nephrology. In 2002 our NST staff was the first to be established in the Tohoku region. The department of kidney disease provides team medical treatment with a concept which nutritional management should be added in dialysis therapy, before NST was established. Nutritional management methods in dialysis situation have been introduced into the PDCA management cycle. The PDCA management cycle consists of enforcement and reexamination of nutritional screening, nutritional assessment, and care plans. Although NST has been omitted, nutrition treatment has become a component of routine medical examinations.
