【 要旨 】 質的研究法の種類と腎不全領域に関する研究例を紹介する．腎不全領域の質的研究はあまり多くなされていなかったが，グラウンデッド・セオリー・アプローチ，現象学的分析，質的内容分析の研究例を紹介して研究方法の特徴を説明した．そのほかにもKJ法，質的統合法，質的記述的研究，エスノグラフィー，歴史研究，事例研究，ナラティブ分析，参加型アクションリサーチについて概説し，腎不全領域でのテーマについて言及した．臨床家と質的研究者が共同することで，腎不全領域での臨床の質を高める知見を創出することが期待される．

[ Summary ] This paper is to explain the kinds of qualitative research using selected published qualitative research papers on the field of Chronic Kidney Disease (CDK) and Kidney Dialysis. Although there were not many qualitative papers in this field, Grounded Theory Approach, phenomenology and qualitative content analysis were explained with a few research examples. Qualitative descriptive research, ethnography, historical research, case study, narrative analysis and participatory action research were introduced, referring for the future themes in order for clinicians to develop and conduct their own qualitative research. Better clinical research will be conducted when healthcare professionals collaborate with qualitative researchers in the field of CKD and dialysis.
