[ Summary ] |
The type of HDF using bottle type hemofiltration replacement solutions is termed "off-line HDF". On the other hand, on-line HDF employs dialysis solutions which are used at facilities for hemofiltration replacement after being purified. The composition of solutions used for on-line HDF is the same as that used for dialysis solutions which are also used with circuits which diverge from dialysis lines. On-line HDF provides high volume replacement because it uses dialysis solutions available at facilities. Therefore, on-line HDF provides better filtration than off-line HDF. |
