[ Summary ] |
Acute blood purification is now widely used in emergency/intensive care units. However, application of this modality for severely ill patients suffering from multiple organ damage requires highly efficient systems as well as specifically trained medical staffs. In practice, various kinds of trained medical workers should concentrate their efforts to safely provide care for severely ill patients. Medical technicians working in emergency/intensive care units, must have extensive knowledge of various complicated techniques which are required and be able to implement them under highly stressed conditions. To combat mental stress, conditions should be well organized. In addition, target oriented goals should be developed for clinical technicians who operate acute blood purification equipment. |
