【 要旨 】 透析医療機関数の全医療機関数に対する割合は低い．しかし，全医療機関から排出される医療廃棄物に対する透析医療機関が占める割合は非常に高い．医療廃棄物問題は，透析医療機関からの廃棄物問題と考えて過言ではない．しかし，透析医療機関が，自発的に廃棄物問題の実態を調査した報告はほとんどない．千葉県透析医会では，医療廃棄物の白主的な把握が県内全域にわたり必要と考え，平成8年から2年ごとに，12年間，計6回のアンケート調査を行い，医療廃棄物問題の啓発に努めている．

[ Summary ] The number of dialysis medical facilities is not high. In the other hand, the quantity of medical waste from dialysis medical facilities is high in relation to that produced by other medical facilities. The overall medical waste problem is related to the waste problems for dialysis medical facilities. There is insufficient information regarding this problem from the viewpoint of medical centers. Taking this into consideration, data from a questionnaire survey concerning the current state of infectious waste from dialysis facilities in Chiba prefecture was carried out every two years, starting in 1996.
