【 要旨 】 これまで多くの先達が看護ニーズの量を測定するためのツールを開発する努力をしてきた．その過程で開発されたツールが日本腎不全看護学会による「透析室看護必要度分類表」である．しかし，これは自立度と観察の程度という二つのカテゴリーを組み合わせたもので評価者の主観に影響される要素が強いため，再現性と妥当性に欠けていた．そこで，筆者は新たに「血液透析患者の看護の必要量」票を独自に開発した．このツールを使用して実際に測定したところ，現場の実態をかなり正確に反映していることが示された．このツールは，血液透析療法において，安全で効率的な看護師等の人員配置基準を策定するために有用であると考えられた．
Theme Dialysis Treatment and Nursing Care Needs -- Significance and Potential Utilization

[ Summary ] Efforts have been made to determine adequate levels of nursing care. A tool used to determine these levels is the Degree Classification Table for Dialysis Sessions. However, two factors, the degree of independence and quality of observation influence evaluators' subjectivity, producing low reproducibility and validity in studies.
New standards were developed concerning nursing care levels required for proper dialysis treatment. The new standards provided very accurate analysis of required care necessary. They will become a useful tool in deciding upon staffing standards and providing safe, efficient hemodialysis care.
