【 要旨 】 2000年に入り，各国での慢性腎臓病 (CKD) に関する診療ガイドラインが次々に発表され，さらにその改訂作業も続いている．2000年に豪州のCARI，2001年に欧州のEBPG，2002年に英国のUK-Guideline，そして2003年にもっとも包括的なK／DOQI腎性骨症ガイドラインが発表された．また国際的なガイドライン作成もKDIG0／GBMIのもと開始されている．

[ Summary ] Since the year 2000, international activity has been focused on the following clinical guidelines and action plans : CARI of Australia in 2000, EBPG of Continental Europe in 2001, United Kingdom-guidelines in 2002 and finally the K/DOQI Clinical Practice Guideline for Bone and Mineral Metabolism in 2003. At the present time, KDIGO (the international organization responsible for kidney disease clinical guidelines) has begun an effort to establish internationally unified guidelines for bone and mineral metabolism in CKD.
