| 【 要旨 】 | 長期透析患者の口腔内には，口腔乾燥，味覚異常，顎骨の異常などの症状が認められる場合が多い．このため口腔内が不潔になりやすくなる．口臭が強くなるとともに，う歯・歯周炎に罹患しやすくなる．口腔環境の悪化とともに症状も増悪する． 口腔乾燥，味覚異常などの症状は，長期透析での尿毒症性物質に関連していると思われるが，原因物質は不明なことが多い．しかし，同時に口腔ケアを充実することにより口腔症状を軽減することが可能であり，ともすれば見過ごされがちな口腔ケアについて，あらためて歯科との連携が重要と考えられる． |

| [ Summary ] | Long term hemodyalysis patients frequently have oral complications such as dry mouth, taste disturbances and jaw bone disease. These complications worsen over-all oral conditions. Dental caries, periodontitis and halitosis are likely to occur, at that time and patients may suffer from further oral complications. Uremic factors responsibie for these complications are as yet unknown, however, proffesional oral health care is helpful in improving treatment of oral complications. Cooperation between the dental and dialysis staffs is recommended in order to support patients' quality of life. |
