【 要旨 】 腹膜透析導入時のクリニカルパス（以下，パス）は，医療の効率・質を維持し，多職種間の連携をスムーズに行うことができ，患者側の評価も良好であった．しかし，バリアンス症例が増加してきている今日，パスの改善・改定を進めていくとともに，とくにnegative selection症例に対しては，変法パスの考案が必要と考えられた．

[ Summary ] Clinical pathways are widely used for end stage renal disease patients at the start of peritoneal dialysis. It is a useful tool for young patients with few complications. However, such ready-made clinical pathways often cannot be adapted to elderly patients or those with many complications. For these “variant” patients, more flexible clinical pathways should be considered.
