【 要旨 】 | 透析アミロイド症のアミロイド線維蛋白は,beta2-microglobulin (beta2-m) と下条らにより報告されたが,詳細な線維形成メカニズムはまったく解明されていない.beta2-mはserum amyloid A proteinと同じくbetaシート構造を有し,アミロイド線維化をきたしやすい性質がある.native beta2-mのほかに,acidic beta2-mやtruncated beta2-m,advanced glycation endproduct beta2-m (AGE beta2-m) が報告され,amyloidgenesityについて検討されてきた.本稿では主として,修飾されたbeta2-m (modified beta2-m) について述べる. |

[ Summary ] | Gejyo et al. have reported that the amyloid fibril protein associated with dialysis-related amyloidosis is beta2-microglobulin (beta2-m). However, the detailed mechanism of amyloid fibril formation remains to be clarified. beta2-m has the same beta-plated structure as serum amyloid A protein, and can readily form amyloid fibrils. Acidic beta2-m, truncated beta2-m and the advanced glycation end product beta2-m, as well as native beta2-m, were reported to be modified forms of beta2-m, and were investigated as to amyloidgenesity. Modified beta2-m is described in this chapter. |
