| 【 要旨 】 | 糖尿病の成立には，ブドウ糖に対するインスリンの相対的・絶対的な不足がもっとも重要である．インスリン分泌の研究は1960年代に本格的にスタートしたが，今もなお未解決の問題が多い．ATP感受性Kチャネルの発見により，ブドウ糖によるインスリン分泌でのionic actionは飛躍的に解明された．われわれは，ブドウ糖によるインスリン分泌機構にはさらにnon-ionic actionが存在することを見出し，分子基盤について解明を行っている．最近新たな手法を用い，インスリン分泌機構の知見がいくつか発見されており，それらについても解説する． | |

| [ Summary ] | The mechanism of glucose-induced insulin secretion from pancreatic beta-cells remains to be established. One well established pathway is the "ionic branch" which involves ATP sensitive K channels and calcium influx. We discovered the "non-ionic branch" of glucose-induced insulin secretion, and searched for possible candidates related to this mechanisms. Newer technologies enables us to find novel aspects of the insulin secretion mechanism. |
