[ Summary ] |
Three dimentional CT angiography (3D-CTA) is a minimally invasive and readily available procedure for the management of blood access complications. Since it can display a comprehensive 3-dimentional image of the architecture of vascular systems, it is highly useful in evaluating blood access troubles and planning operative strategies. The fully observed vessels can also serve as reference points to decide where to place the needles to obtain the adequate blood flow for dialysis, and to obtain informed consent. |
