| 【 要旨 】 | KDQOLTMは，Haysらにより開発された(1994年)(IV章 尾藤参照)腎疾患，とくに透析患者を対象とした疾患特異的尺度で，腎疾患特有の事項に対する質問項目(kidney disease-targeted scales)が，合計97問設定されており，それに包括的QOL尺度であるSF-36が加えられ，合計133問になる測定尺度である．Haysらは，約30分で回答できると報告しているが，それでも長すぎるとの意見から，短縮版であるKDQOL-SFTMが開発され，約16分で回答できるとされている．Haysらは，KDQOLTMの開発にあたり165名の透析患者の回答をもとに解析を行った結果，高い信頼性を示していた．また，SF-36の部分は，一般健常人と比較して25％ほど低い値を示したが，これは他の研究結果とほぼ一致する結果であったと報告しており，信頼性，妥当性の高いものであることが確認されたとしている． 現在，日本においてもKDQOLTM日本語版の開発と評価が行われており，信頼性，妥当性を確認しているところである．評価が終わり次第，わが国におけるHD,CAPD患者のQOLを測定する予定である． |

| [ Summary ] | Kidney Disease Quality of Life (KDQOLTM) instrument (dialysis version) is a self-report measure that includes a Mos Short Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36) as the generic core, supplemented with multi-item scales targeted at particular concerns of individuals with kidney disease who are on dialysis (symptoms/problems, effects of kidney disease on daily life, burden of kidney disease, cognitive function, work status, sexual function, quality of social interaction, sleep). This paper reviews the description by Hays et al.(1994) and discusses the present status in the U.S.A. and the possibility of QOL study in Japan. We are developing the KDQOLTM-Japanese version and, after validation, a survey of the difference in QOL between HD and CAPD patients is planned. |
