| 【 要旨 】 | 現在，さまざまな種類の健康関連quality of life(HRQOL)尺度が開発されつつあるが，適切な医療プログラム評価のためには，目的と対象に沿った尺度が選択，使用される必要がある．HRQOL尺度は，まず一般的尺度と疾患特異的尺度，さらに多面的定量尺度と単一スケール尺度に分類される．本稿では，国内外で使用されている主要な尺度を例に挙げながら，それぞれの尺度のもつ特質や，使用にあたってのおもな目的，利点・欠点などを解説することによって，臨床研究や臨床評価へのガイドラインを述べた． | |

| [ Summary ] | While many kinds of health-related quality of life (HRQOL) measurement scales are currently available, appropriate measures must be chosen for proper evaluation of medical care. HRQOL scales are classified into various categories : generic measures and disease specific measures, and both multi-dimensional and single-dimension scales. This report discusses the characteristics, purposes and the strengths and weaknesses of each type of measure giving examples of some frequently used HRQOL scales. | |
