【 要旨 】 1990年代になって，看護界は慌ただしく専門制度へと動きを活発にしている．腎不全看護領域は，1970年代から専門分野としての確立を目指してきたのであるが，今もって低迷状態が続き制度化の実現に至っていない．その要因となるものを分析し，問題の手がかりとなる要件としてまとめた．患者ケアを重視した教育カリキュラムを実現させ，専門領域に働く看護婦のレベルアップを目指したい．

Title Requirement for establishing the specialty of nephrology nursing

[ Summary ] Since the early 1990s, the world of nursing has been evolving toward a system of specialization. Though we nephrology nurses have been aiming to establish a specialized field since the 1970 s, such a system has not yet been authorized. I analyzed factors which might contribute to solving this problem. We want to realize an educational curriculum which is patient-oriented and has the aim of raising the level of nurses in this field.
