| 【 要旨 】 | 1995年4月より腎臓移植のシステムも一新し，日本腎臓移植ネットワークが発足した．ここでは，コーディネーターをはじめ各部門の位置づけと役割分担がより明確となり，透析施設も移植を希望する患者を維持管理している立場から，従来以上に移植医療のなかで果たさなければならない役割が増えている．しかし，従来，移植医療の多くを移植医に依存していたため，この役割分担に対する透析施設の認識は不足している．ネットワークにおける透析施設の役割は，移植のどの場面で関与するかにより，その役割の内容は異なるが，一貫してもっとも重要な点は，透析施設と移植医との緊密な情報交換である． | |

| [ Summary ] | In April 1995, the Japan kidney transplant network (JKTN) launched its activity as a new network system for kidney transplantation in Japan. In this system, the role of each department, such as coordinator, renal care unit and transplant unit,etc., is distinct from those of other units. Therefore, the staff of the renal care unit must play a greater part than before in the activities of JKTN by maintaining a connection with transplant surgeons. |
