[ Summary ] |
Complete resection is required when we perform endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) to treat a colorectal tumors. Selection of the polypectomy snare is of great importance for complete resection. However, many kinds of polypectomy snare are commercially available at the present. Consequently, we must use the most appropriate snare for EMR. We investigated the characteristics and usefulness of several polypectomy snares. It is concluded that hard snares are more appropriate than soft ones. |
