| [ Summary ] |
The utility of contrast enhanced ultrasonography using Levovist has improved the diagnosability of tumors in the liver. In the postvasucular phase, liver metastatic tumors including colorectal cancer, show perfusion defects, so we can detect tumors more easily and sometimes detect smaller ones. Thus, contrast enhanced ultrasonography may be a useful modality for detecting, staging and deciding on therapy for colorectal metastasis. |
