【 要旨 】 昨今の内視鏡機器は研究・開発に伴い画質性能も向上しており,非拡大・拡大観察ともに,より明瞭な内視鏡画像が得られるようになった.しかし撮影時の構造強調や色彩強調の設定の違いにより,同一病変でも内視鏡画像上大きな相違が生まれるのが実際である.よって,内視鏡下での病変の視認性の向上や,表面構造・血管構造評価のためにはそれぞれの機能を適切に設定することが重要となる.
本稿では当科での下部消化管内視鏡検査時における標準内視鏡設定モードと,その違いによる画像の捉え方,および色素撒布やNBI拡大観察時に使用する構造強調機能・色彩強調機能の設定方法と至適設定モードについて解説する.

[ Summary ] Recent technological advances and development of innovative endoscopic equipment have resulted in improved image quality for visualization of clearer endoscopic images (both magnification and nonmagnification views).
However, differences in the structural and color enhancement settings used during imaging can lead to significant differences even for the same lesion. Therefore, it is important to ensure that each function setting is appropriate for optimal endoscopic visualization of lesions to accurately evaluate the surface and vascular structures.
In this article, we describe the standard endoscopic setting modes for lower gastrointestinal endoscopy performed at our department. Additionally, we have described how to capture images using the differences between the standard endoscopic setting modes and how to set the structure- and color-enhancement functions for color spraying and narrowband image magnification.
