[ Summary ] |
De novo-type early depressed colorectal cancer is a clinically important lesion because it has the potential to invade the submucosal layer and metastasize to lymph nodes, regardless of the small tumor size. However, in order to accurately diagnose these lesions, it is necessary to improve not only the endoscope operation technique but also the diagnostic ability. AI, which has been attracting attention in medical fields in recent years, is expected be have the same diagnostic ability as an expert by providing sufficient learning samples. This paper describes the outline of AI for colonoscopy, including the EndoBRAIN approved in Japan. |
