【 要旨 】 消化管内分泌細胞腫瘍の日本分類とWHO 2010分類を対比した．日本分類は腫瘍細胞の異型度に基づく組織分類であり，WHO 2010分類は腫瘍細胞の分化度と増殖能（核分裂数とKi-67指数）に基づく組織分類であった．このため，組織型名の内容に相違があった．日本分類は両腫瘍の組織発生の違いを反映した分類であるが，WHO 2010分類は組織発生の違いを考慮していない分類であった．消化管内分泌細胞腫瘍の病理診断の手順と項目について述べた．

[ Summary ] Japanese and 2010 WHO classifications of gastrointestinal endocrine cell tumors were compared. The former is based on the atypical grade of tumor cells and histogenetic difference of both tumors. The latter is based on tumor cell differentiation and proliferation activity (mitotic and Ki-67 indices) and does not consider histogenetic pathways of both tumors. The pathological diagnosis process of gastrointestinal endocrine cell tumors was mentioned.
