【 要旨 】 内視鏡画像強調システム「LASEREO」は粘膜表面の微細血管，粘膜表面構造を高いコントラストで描出するBL（I Blue LASER Imaging）と，粘膜のわずかな色の差を強調して正常粘膜と病変との差をつける狭帯域光色彩強調機能LCI（Linked Color Imaging）を搭載している．LCIによって大腸粘膜のわずかな発赤を強調することで，従来の内視鏡分類とは違った潰瘍性大腸炎の新しい内視鏡分類を定義することができる．このLCI分類は粘膜の組織炎症，長期の非再燃率と相関しており，粘膜治癒の評価や治療強化に有用であると考えられる．

[ Summary ] Mucosal healing is an important treatment goal for maintaining clinical remission in ulcerative colitis (UC) patients. Linked color imaging (LCI) is a new technique of endoscopic image enhancement including in the LASEREO endoscopic system. LCI enhances mucosal redness and endoscopic mucosal classification based on LCI images, which are strongly correlated with histological inflammation and long-term prognoses for UC patients. Results obtained are better than those based on Mayo endoscopic subscores.
