[ Summary ] |
Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis, including eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis, granulomatosis with polyangiitis, and microscopic polyangiitis are summarized. ANCA-associated vasculitis is a form of necrotizing vasculitis, predominantly affecting small vessels. ANCA-associated vasculitis affects the whole body and may involve the gastrointestinal (GI) tract in some patients. Since GI bleeding and perforations affect prognoses, it is important to know the features and degree of GI involvement in ANCA-associated vasculitis. |
