[ Summary ] |
Serrated polyposis syndrome (SPS) is a rare syndrome with many serrated polyps throughout the entire colon, with a high rate of colorectal cancer development via the serrated pathway. However, there are few reports of SPS in Japan, and the disease concept is poorly understood. Research on the prevalence and clinicopathologic and molecular features of SPS is needed. |
