[ Summary ] |
Primary gastrointestinal (GI) tract lymphoma constitutes 30-40 % of all primary extranodal lymphomas and accounts for 4-20 % of all cases. As primary GI tract lymphomas are a rare, heterogeneous group of diseases, it is very difficult to conduct large-scale randomized clinical trials. To date, standard treatment strategies have not been established for each subtype of primary GI tract lymphomas. Because of the diversity and peculiarity of primary GI tract lymphomas, further advances in treatment strategy are needed. |
