[ Summary ] |
Recently, we have begun to perform endoscopic balloon dilation therapy for small intestinal strictures in patients with Crohn's disease using balloon assisted endoscopy. In our hospital, we use doubleballoon endoscopy for endoscopic balloon dilation which can be performed effectively and safely. While, Crohn’s disease therapy has been changing after biologic agents emerged. On a case of progressive stricture of the intestine caused by biologic therapies, combination with EBD is supposed to be a useful strategy. |
