[ Summary ] |
Patency capsules were introduced for videocapsule endoscopy (VCE) examination of Crohn's disease patients one year ago. VCE enables us to perform painless, detailed examinations of lesions in the small intestine for those with Crohn's jejunoileitis. VCE is expected to become the primary diagnostic tool for treatment of patients with Crohn's disease, not associated with stenosis. |
