Hereditary colorectal cancer is a rare disease. Construction of genotype and phenotype databases of these diseases and/or international collaborative studies is requisite to improve diagnostic and treatment options for hereditary colorectal cancer. When we look back at our history, we have not positively contributed to international collaboration. Several important ongoing international projects will be discussed. We must face the reality of events happening world wide to improve our attitude towards actively participating in ongoing international collaborative projects. |
