| 【 要旨 】 | 癌の家族歴を有する場合，一般よりも癌発症の確率が高いことが知られているが，そのなかには単一遺伝子性疾患が含まれる．遺伝性大腸癌は，一般の癌と比較して，若年性に発症し，同時性・異時性に大腸癌や関連する癌を多発するといった特徴がある．遺伝カウンセリングを通して遺伝性大腸癌家系を特定し，癌の遺伝に関する情報提供と，ハイリスク者に対する適切な医療を提供することが，癌の早期発見，予防を検討するうえで重要である． | |

| [ Summary ] | Individuals with familial histories of cancer have a higher risk of cancer than the general population. In these cases, there are monogenic disorders, such as Lynch's syndrome and familial adenomatous polyposis. Hereditary colorectal cancer is characterized by early onset, multiple colorectal cancers, and the development of neoplastic lesions in a variety of tissues. Genetic counseling is important to identify families having increased cancer risk, to provide information about cancer inheritance, potential risk factors including environmental exposure or a family history of cancer. Genetic counseling is also important to make appropriate provisions, including customized surveillance and to make early detection recommendations for prevention and early detection of cancer. |
