[ Summary ] |
EMR is still the primary method for treatment of colorectal epithelial neoplasia. However, ESD has recently come to be widely performed. We must comprehend the features of both therapeutic methods while improving our skills. At the same time, we must select the most appropriate method for treatment of colorectal epithelial neoplasia. In order to judge which is appropriate ESD or EMR for the treatment of colorectal epithelial neoplasia, we must observe the lesions carefully with conventional endoscopy and magnifying endoscopy to determine microvascular patterns, microsurface patterns and pit patterns. |
