[ Summary ] |
At present there is no unified NBI magnifying classification, although many classification or evaluating methods have been reported. In terms of NBI magnifying observation it is very important to evaluate both surface patterns and vascular patterns while considering the gross appearance or histologic features with the best condition of set-up of structure enhancement and color enhance ment of videoscope systems. Diagnosis without surface pattern evaluation being conducted through pit pattern classification is not scientifically valid. NBI magnifying diagnosis must be accomplished by employing defined criteria for individual classifications. |
