【 要旨 】 非アルコール性脂肪性肝疾患（NAFLD）/非アルコール性脂肪肝炎（NASH）は慢性肝疾患のおもな成因である．NASH肝硬変患者数は増多の一途を辿っており，日常診療で接する機会も少なくない．本稿では，NASH肝硬変について，診療ガイドラインを基に近年の研究報告を含めて概説する．また，近年International Expert Panelより提唱された脂肪肝の新概念「代謝異常関連脂肪性肝疾患（MAFLD）」についてもNAFLDと比較しつつ論述する．
