[ Summary ] |
Currently endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) plays an important role in diagnosis and treatment in the pancreatobiliary field. EUS‒guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) has been established as a safe procedure. EUS is used in the management of pancreatic fluid collection, biliary and pancreatic duct drainage, and other conditions. Further device development would enable the expansion of its role and prompt its widespread use in clinical practice. |
